Pursuant to Section 72.070, RSMo., the Board
of Aldermen of the Village passed Ordinance No. 99 to submit to the
qualified voters of the Village a proposed change in its form of government
from that of a Village to that of a City of the Fourth Class. After
publication of notice as required by law, an election was held on
Tuesday, February 6, 1990, on such matter. At such election eighty
(80) voters voted in favor of the change and sixty-one (61) voters
voted against the change. Ordinance No. 90-4 declared such results
of the election held which changes the classification of the Village
of Weldon Spring to a City of the Fourth Class.
