Any person holding the office of Town Comptroller need not be
a resident nor an elector of the Town of Rotterdam; provided, however,
that such person shall reside in Schenectady County or in an adjoining
county. This section shall supersede N.Y. Town Law § 23
and N.Y. Public Officers Law § 3.
