The Board of Trustees of the Village of Sag Harbor hereby declares and finds it is in the public interest to opt the Village of Sag Harbor out of hosting retail cannabis dispensaries and on-site cannabis consumption establishments within its boundaries to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people of the Village of Sag Harbor.
The terms used and/or referenced in this article, including, but not limited to, cannabis, shall have the same definitions as set forth in New York State Cannabis Law, Chapter 7-a of the Consolidated Laws.
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Sag Harbor, County of Suffolk, hereby opts out of allowing retail cannabis dispensaries and on-site cannabis consumption establishments from locating and operating within the boundaries of the Village of Sag Harbor.
