A. 
Connection of new installations. Every new installation of a plumbing system in a building or structure shall, when there is an accessible public sewer in the street abutting the lot on which such building or structure is located, be connected with such sewer, as provided in this section.
B. 
Connection of existing installations. The plumbing system of an existing building or structure located on a lot abutting on a street in which a public sewer is being placed or has been placed after such plumbing or drainage was installed shall, whenever directed by the Plumbing Inspector, be connected to such public sewer.
Each plumbing system of a building or structure shall be separately connected with the public sewer or with a private sewer or cesspool.
A. 
No connection shall be made to a public sewer or any sewer system except by special permit from the Plumbing Department and under the direction and supervision of the Plumbing Inspector.
B. 
No permit for a sewer connection shall be issued unless the plumbing system conforms with the Plumbing Code. This is not to be construed as applying to work performed prior to the date on which this code becomes effective.
C. 
No direct or indirect connection for the removal of sewage from any premises shall be made with the stormwater drainage of the towns or with a stream or watercourse.
D. 
All connections with a public sewer shall be made only after the issuance of a permit, unless such requirement is waived by resolution of the Village Board.
