[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of

All mining or recovery of coal or other minerals of all types,
except for water, by strip mining or otherwise that disturbs the surface
of land upon which any mining may be conducted is hereby prohibited
within the Borough of Baldwin.

Any person, firm, corporation or partnership who violates any
provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject
to a fine not to exceed $300 plus costs of prosecution or imprisonment
for up to 30 days. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist
shall constitute a separate offense.
