It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, as defined in § 476 of the General Municipal Law, upon obtaining the required license, to conduct the game of bingo within the territorial limits of the Town of Union Vale, subject to the provisions of this chapter, Article 14-H of the General Municipal Law and Article 19-B of the Executive Law.
Any game of bingo conducted within the Town pursuant to a license issued in accordance with this chapter and the applicable statutes may be operated by authorized organizations on the first day of the week, commonly known as "Sunday."
The Town Board of the Town of Union Vale hereby delegates its authority under this chapter in relation to the issuance and receipt of application, the issuance of licenses and the collection and transmission of fees, to the Code Enforcement Officer of the Town of Union Vale, New York, and delegates the authority granted to it in relation to the conduct of investigations and the supervision of the operation of games of chance, to the Code Enforcement Officer of the Town of Union Vale, New York.
The provisions of Article 14-H of the General Municipal Law and this chapter shall be effective immediately in the Town of Union Vale pursuant to a proposition therefor submitted at the election held in the Town of Union Vale on April 18, 1959, which was approved by a vote of the majority of the qualified electors in the Town of Union Vale voting thereon.
