No commercial establishment located in the City
of Pawtucket engaged in the business of rental of video cassette recordings
shall openly and publicly exhibit, in any manner, recordings which
have been labeled, advertised or otherwise held out to be "NC-17,"
"R," "X," "XX" or "XXX" except in a separately defined area, outside
of the view of the general public, in or on the premises, which shall
be closed to admission to any person under the age of 18.
Nothing contained herein shall be construed
as adopting, incorporating or referring to the motion-picture rating
system of the Motion Picture Association of America or of any other
private or public organization.

Any person, firm or corporation who violates
any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a violation
punishable by a fine of up to $500.
