[Adopted 8-21-1953 by Ord. No. 23]
Each dwelling house which is to be connected with the sewer main must have a separate lateral from the house to the sewer main in the street, except where special permission is granted by the Borough Council, in writing, at the time application for the opening of such street is made to combine the laterals from two or more dwelling houses, where all but one of the dwellings to be so connected are not located on property immediately adjacent to the existing sewer main. In any such case, the Borough Council, with the advice and counsel of any licensed engineer who may be consulted by the Borough in connection therewith, may impose special requirements as to the proper size and construction of any such combined lateral in order to meet the exceptional conditions then existing.
