A. 
If a property is in violation of any provision of this chapter, the owner of the property shall be guilty of an offense. In addition, any other person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of an offense. Each day's continued violation constitutes a separate offense unless otherwise provided herein. For any violation of over-occupancy provisions herein, each additional occupant over the maximum shall constitute a separate offense.

B. 
Each offense shall be punishable by a fine not less than $250 nor more than $500, unless otherwise provided herein.
C. 
Violations of § 325-29.3 shall be punishable in accordance with § 178-10 of this Code.

In addition to other remedies, the Director of Planning and Development or designee may institute any appropriate action or proceedings to prevent any unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, conduct, business or use prohibited by this chapter or to compel compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
