Borough of Palmerton, PA Article VII Fees

§ 115-47 Tax certification sale; duplicate tax bill; returned check.

A. The fee for a tax certification sale issued by the Tax Collector for the Borough of Palmerton shall be in accordance with the established fee schedule, as adopted by resolution of the Borough Council from time to time, per certification request for each year's taxes requested to be certified by the Tax Collector. This fee shall be paid to the Borough of Palmerton Tax Collector.

B. Duplicate tax bill fee. The fee for a duplicate tax bill issued by the Tax Collector for the Borough of Palmerton shall be in accordance with the established fee schedule as adopted by resolution of the Borough Council from time to time per each person requesting a duplicate tax bill. If a person requests a duplicate bill for Borough, county, and school, the fee would be in accordance with the fee schedule. The fee shall be paid to the Borough of Palmerton Tax Collector.

C. Returned check fee. The fee for returned checks issued to the Tax Collector for the Borough of Palmerton shall be in accordance with the established fee schedule as adopted by resolution of the Borough Council from time to time. The fee shall be paid to the Borough of Palmerton Tax Collector.
