The Township Committee hereby establishes the office of the Chief Financial
Officer. The Township Committee shall appoint a duly qualified individual
to serve on a full- or part-time basis as set forth in the resolution of appointment
of the Township Committee. The individual so appointed shall be a certified
municipal finance officer as defined by law.
The powers and duties of the Chief Financial Officer shall be those
powers and duties prescribed by P.L. 1947, c. 151, as the same may be amended from time to time, and the rules and
regulations promulgated thereunder.
The Township Committee hereby declares that the salary of the Chief
Financial Officer shall be established by the Township Committee by way of
the Salary Ordinance.
