All soil and waste lines of a plumbing system shall be inspected by
the Plumbing Inspector to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Plumbing
Code and the installation and construction of the system in accordance with
the approved plans and the permit.
It shall be the duty of the plumber to notify the Plumbing Inspector,
orally by telephone or in writing, that the work is ready to be inspected
or tested. It shall be the duty of the plumber to make sure that the work
will stand the test prescribed before giving the above notification.
The equipment, material and labor necessary for the inspection and test
shall be furnished by the plumber.
If an inspection or test shows defects, such defective work or material
shall be replaced within 10 days and the inspections and tests repeated.
Upon the satisfactory completion and final test of the plumbing system,
a certificate of approval shall be issued by the Plumbing Inspector to the
plumber to be delivered to the owner.
