A local housing partnership known as the "Wallingford Housing
Partnership" was formed in accordance with § 8-336f of the
Connecticut General Statutes for the purposes set forth in Chapter
137C of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Connecticut Housing
Partnership Program. This chapter is limited to the present version
of § 8-336f, and any changes in § 8-336f shall
not change this chapter without the enactment of a new ordinance.
The Mayor shall appoint the members of the Partnership at times
deemed necessary. Membership therein shall include but not be limited
to:
B. Representatives
of the Planning Commission, Zoning Commission, Inland Wetlands Commission,
Housing Authority and any local community development agency.
C. Representatives
of the local business community, such as local bankers, realtors and
developers.
D. Representatives
of public interest groups, such as housing advocates, members of the
clergy, members of local civic groups and representatives of local
nonprofit corporations.
E. Local
urban planning, land use and housing professionals.
Anything to the contrary notwithstanding, all power or authority
of the Wallingford Housing Partnership or any member is limited and
confined strictly to the assets of the Partnership, and neither the
Partnership nor any of its members has any power or authority whatsoever
to obligate, commit or bind the Town or any Town funds, nor to enter
into any contract or agreement, nor to incur any indebtedness by which
the Town or the Town funds become liable, but all acts, actions, decisions,
commitments, contracts, agreements, indebtedness and obligations of
every kind or sort shall be limited solely to the assets of the Partnership.
