No person being the owner or having custody or control of any icebox,
refrigerator, deep freeze or any other similar container of a size which will
permit a child to get inside and close the door or cover shall maintain or
permit to be maintained such a container outside of any building in the Village
of Florida, New York, unless such container shall be capable of being opened
by a child from the inside. Any such container which shall not be in use shall
have the door or cover removed therefrom.

Violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not more
than $250 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both.
