No person shall keep or maintain a disorderly
house or a house of ill fame or allow or permit any house, shop, store
or other building or structure owned or occupied by such person to
be used as a disorderly house or house of ill fame.
No person shall permit any house, shop, store,
hall or other building or structure owned or occupied by such person
to be frequented or resorted to by noisy, riotous or disorderly persons
or by prostitutes, gamblers or vagrants.
No person shall, by noisy or disorderly conduct,
disturb or interfere with the quiet or good order of any place of
assembly, public or private, including schools, churches, libraries
and reading rooms.

A. Graffiti.
(1) No person shall write, paint, or place with ink, paint, chalk, or
other substance graffiti on real or personal property of another,
whether said personal or real property is publicly or privately owned,
unless the owner of said property shall have, prior to the writing,
painting, or placing of the graffiti, specifically consented to the
same.
(2) Responsibility of parent or guardian.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any parent, legal guardian, or other
person having legal custody and care of any minor child under the
age of 18 years of age to assist, aid, abet, allow, permit, or encourage
said minor to violate the provisions of this chapter, as defined herein,
either by words, overt act, by failing to act, or by lack of supervision
and control over said minor child.
(b)
Any minor child under the age of 18 years apprehended for a
violation of this chapter shall be brought before a Judge of the Superior
Court, Chancery Division, Family Part, and the parent, legal guardian,
or other person having care and custody of said minor shall be summoned
or arrested and brought before the Judge of the Municipal Court of
the City of Rahway and be subject to the penalties provided herein.
No person shall publicly mutilate, trample upon
or otherwise deface or defile any flag, standard, color or ensign
of the United States of America or the flag of the State of New Jersey,
whether the same is on public or private property.
No person shall go about from door to door or
place himself in the streets to beg or gather alms.
No person shall obstruct or interfere with any
person lawfully being in any street, public place or public building.
No person shall utter any loud and offensive
or profane or indecent language or make offensive remarks to any person
or persons:
A. Passing along or being upon any sidewalk, street,
park or other public place.
B. In or about any public building, schoolhouse, library
or other public or quasi-public place, store, auditorium or place
of amusement.
C. In any common hallway, vestibule or common yard connected
with any private dwelling housing two or more families.
No person shall exhibit or perform in any indecent,
immoral or lewd play or other representation.
No person shall solicit, invite or in any manner
suggest, by word of mouth or any writing or other communication or
any device whatsoever, any indecent, lewd, lascivious or other immoral
act.
No person shall, without just cause, utter or
expose to the view of another or possess with intent to utter or expose
to the view of another or sell any obscene or indecent book, pamphlet,
picture or other representation, however made, or in any way advertise
the same or, in any manner, whether by recommendation against its
use or otherwise, give any information how or where any of the same
may be had, seen, bought or sold.
Any person who violates any provision of this
article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not
exceeding $500 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days,
or both.
