No person shall discharge a firearm within six hundred (600) feet of
any dwelling, house, public street or highway. This section shall not be construed
to prohibit the use of firearms for the protection of life, person or property
or the discharge of firearms on any firing range equipped with proper safeguards
for the protection of persons and property. Any firing range which is constructed
in accordance with range plans provided by the National Rifle Association
shall be considered as having proper safeguards.
A.
No person shall possess or have under his control any
arrow with an explosive tip or a poison arrow or any bow which is drawn by
mechanical means, unless he can establish that such bow or arrow is possessed
because of its historical or similar value and is not intended for use.
B.
No person shall discharge any arrow within thirty (30)
feet of any dwelling, house, public street or highway, except upon an archery
range equipped with proper safeguards for the protection of persons and property.

Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties set forth in § 1-17 of this Code.
