An advisory board shall be and hereby is created and established consisting of five volunteers of the borough and shall be known as the "Shade Tree Advisory Board of the Borough of Collingswood."
The Board shall act in an advisory capacity to the Borough Commission regarding the planting and care of shade and ornamental trees and shrubbery now situate or which may hereafter be planted in any public highway, park or other appropriate area of said borough, except county parks or parkways. Such advice shall pertain to trimming, spraying, care and protection of trees in the borough consistent with the borough's policy to protect existing trees and to encourage further tree growth in the municipality.
The Board shall write and implement an annual community forestry plan and shall determine public tree care policies.
