The request of the Trustees of Knight Park that the provisions of Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey be made applicable to the various semipublic or private roads, drives, driveways, trails, terraces, paths or other roadways of Knight Park open to or used by the public is hereby approved.

It shall be unlawful for the owners or drivers of automobiles to park in Knight Park between sunset and sunrise unless directed by the Police Department. It shall be unlawful for the owners or operators of motor vehicles to park their motor vehicles or permit them to be parked on any of the lawns, fields or areas where grass is planted within Knight Park at any time.

All signs, posts, bolts or other necessary materials shall be installed and paid for by the applicant. Work shall be checked by the Police Department to ensure installations meet state and federal specifications, and all signing shall conform to the current manual on uniform traffic control devices.

The following shall be designated as one-way streets:
Names of Street
Direction
Perimeter Road
Northbound from Collings Avenue to Park Avenue

A. 
The speed limits for both directions of traffic in the parking lots shall be 15 miles per hour.
B. 
Regulatory and warning signs shall be erected and maintained to effect the above-designated speed limits authorized by the Department of Transportation.

Any vehicle parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, to block entrance- or exitways, loading zones, oil fills, any grass area or pedestrian walkway or to present in any way a safety or traffic hazard may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owner's or operator's expense.

Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey Statute, every person convicted of a violation of this Article or any supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $100 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both.
