[HISTORY: Adopted by the Council of the Borough of Fair Lawn 3-8-1994 by Ord. No. 1553-94 as Section 10 of the Cable Television Franchise of the Borough of Fair Lawn. Amendments noted where applicable.]
A. 
The Borough Council shall appoint a permanent Cable Television Board comprised of nine members and two alternates who shall be citizens of the borough, who will serve in an advisory capacity to the Council and will communicate with the Company regarding service complaints, comments and concerns. One member and the two alternates shall be initially appointed for a one-year term; three members shall be initially appointed for a two-year term; and three members shall be appointed for a three-year term. After the initial term, all appointments shall be for a term of three years. The Cable Television Board shall appoint a chairperson from among its members, who shall preside over meetings. The Cable Television Board shall meet on a regularly scheduled basis not less than four times each year. At such meetings, the Cable Television Board shall review complaints from the citizens of the borough regarding the performance of the Company, discuss matters pertaining to the dedicated channel and pertaining to the Access Coordinator, review the Company' s compliance with the terms of the franchise granted hereunder, make the public aware of developments relating to cable television service generally and discuss such other matters as may be relevant.

B. 
The Borough Council may create a part-time at-will position of Access Coordinator working a maximum of 19 1/2 hours per week. The Access Coordinator will assist citizens in allocating access to the dedicated channel(s) and producing programming. The Cable Television Board shall monitor the performance of the Access Coordinator.
C. 
This section provides for a Council liaison to the Cable Television Board whom the Mayor and Council shall appoint for a term of one year.
