A. There shall be appointed by the Mayor and Council
with the approval of Council such Clerk Stenographers and such Clerk
Typists as shall be deemed appropriate to assist the Borough Clerk,
Tax Collector and Treasurer. Such appointees shall serve without term
and subject to availability of funds.
B. The Clerk Stenographers and Clerk Typists shall be
under the direct supervision of the Borough Clerk.

A. The Clerk Stenographer shall:
(1) Assist the Borough Clerk in the administrative affairs
of his office.
(2) Assist the Tax Collector in receipt of payment of
taxes.
(3) Perform any other duties as the Borough Clerk and
the Mayor and Council may direct.
(4) Perform all duties of the Borough Clerk when designated
by resolution of the Mayor and Council.
B. The Clerk Typist shall:
(1) Assist the Borough Clerk and Clerk Stenographer in
the administrative affairs of the office.
(2) Assist the Tax Collector in the receipt of payment
of taxes.
(3) Perform any other duties as the Borough Clerk or the
Mayor and Council may direct.
(4) Undertake and complete all clerical functions within
the office such as typing, transcribing, filing and alike.
The Clerk Stenographer and Clerk Typist shall
receive as compensation or salary the amount as set forth in the municipal
budget and salary ordinances.
