A. 
The owner, occupant, lessee or party in possession of any building, stores, or dwelling now erected on any lot or street, or any house or building hereafter erected shall at his or their own expense place thereon in some conspicuous place the numbers designated in conformity with the street numbers on the tax maps of the Borough.
B. 
Upon application by the owner of any property in the Borough to the Borough Clerk, the Borough Clerk shall furnish such owner with the correct number of such property.
C. 
The owner of any dwelling, house, store or other building incorrectly or improperly or insufficiently numbered shall be notified in writing by the Borough Clerk or his authorized representative to change or replace such incorrect, improper or insufficient number, or to affix a number where one is lacking within 10 days after date of such notice. Any person failing to comply with the provisions of this article shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $1,250, a term of imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, or any combination thereof.
