Article I Failure to Furnish

§ 103-1 Failure or refusal to furnish identification.

It shall be unlawful for any person being issued a citation for a violation of a municipal infraction of the Town of Snow Hill to fail or refuse to provide their full name, current address and date of birth upon request of the police officer or governmental official issuing the citation.

§ 103-2 Giving false identification prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for any person being issued a citation for a violation of a municipal infraction of the Town of Snow Hill to give a false or fictitious name, address or date of birth to the police officer or governmental official issuing the citation for the purpose of misleading or concealing their true identity.

§ 103-3 Violations and penalties.

Any person violating the provisions of § 103-1 or 103-2 of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, is subject to a fine up to $50.
