The Deputy City Clerk shall have all the powers and perform all the duties of the City Clerk during such times and for such specific purposes as the City Clerk shall be absent from her office.
The Deputy City Clerk shall receive such compensation as may be fixed from time to time by the City Council in the manner provided by law.[1]
