City of Hackensack, NJ Article III Deputy City Clerk

§ 3-10 Creation of office.

There is hereby created and established the office of Deputy City Clerk in the government of the City of Hackensack.

§ 3-11 Duties and powers.

The Deputy City Clerk shall have all the powers and perform all the duties of the City Clerk during such times and for such specific purposes as the City Clerk shall be absent from her office.

§ 3-12 Appointment; term of office.

The Deputy City Clerk shall be appointed by and hold office at the pleasure of the City Council.

§ 3-13 Compensation.

The Deputy City Clerk shall receive such compensation as may be fixed from time to time by the City Council in the manner provided by law.[1]
