No person or persons shall sell, display or discharge any fireworks or other pyrotechnic devices in the Borough of Haddonfield on Independence Day, or on any other date, unless first having obtained a permit for same.
A. 
An application for a permit shall be made through the Camden County Fire Marshal or other appointed local enforcing agency.
B. 
Once the conditions required by the local enforcing agency have been met, the application shall be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Haddonfield.
C. 
The application shall include proof that that the applicant is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws, codes, rules and regulations.
D. 
The application shall include a bond or proof of insurance in an amount deemed adequate by the Commissioners and in a form approved by the Borough Solicitor.
E. 
The application shall be reviewed by the Haddonfield Fire Chief and Police Chief.
F. 
If they recommend final approval, such permit will become valid upon the adoption of a resolution approving same at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners.
Violations of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, § 1-14.
