The purpose and intent of this article is to
amend all prior ordinances regarding the schedule of fees for the
cost of taxpayer lists. The new costs for said taxpayer lists are
as follows:
A. Printed mailing lists shall be provided as set forth
herein for a minimum charge of $10 per printed mailing list, plus
$0.05 per name.
B. Printed mailing labels (4 inches by 15/16 inches)
shall have a minimum charge of $15, plus $0.10 per name.
C. Lists on computerized disc shall have a minimum charge
of $25, plus $0.05 per name.
All requests must be made in writing for lists
and/or labels and must be approved by the Administrator and/or Tax
Assessor. The list and/or labels shall be prepared and delivered within
a reasonable time as shall be established by the Tax Assessor or Administrator.
Any individual requesting lists, labels or discs shall provide ample
advance notice. Such ample advanced notice shall be determined by
the Township Administrator to be a period of time reasonable to allow
for the production and delivery of these items without undue interference
upon the Township of Hamilton and/or the Tax Office.
All requests for lists, labels or discs shall
specifically detail each and every and the exact parameters needed
for the list. The Township of Hamilton shall provide only the requested
list based on information available to it through its current year's
certified tax list and is therefore not responsible for any inaccuracies
not reported. It is the intent of this article to provide a reasonable
scheduling fee, and a reasonable mechanism to make this information
available, where appropriate, and the Township shall not incur any
liabilities through providing this information.
