Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 17:36-8, no insurer issuing fire insurance policies in the State of New Jersey shall make payment to any claimant of any claim in excess of $2,500 for fire damages on real property located within the Township of Holland, pursuant to any fire insurance policy issued or renewed after the adoption of this chapter, until such time as all taxes and assessments and all other municipal liens or charges due and payable appearing on an official certificate of tax search issued by the Township's Tax Search Office shall have been paid either by the owner of such real property or by the insurance company, unless the Township of Holland shall adopt a resolution providing for the payment of said liens in installments pursuant to N.J.S.A. 17:36-11, and the insurer shall receive a certified copy of such resolution.
A certified copy of the ordinance creating this Chapter 9 shall be filed by the Township Clerk with the Commissioner of Insurance for the State of New Jersey.
