Whenever any words and phrases are used in this
chapter, the meanings respectively ascribed to them in Subtitle 1
of Title 39 of the New Jersey Statutes Annotated shall be deemed to
apply to such words and phrases used herein.
All former traffic ordinances of the Township
of Holland are hereby repealed, except that this repeal shall not
affect or prevent the prosecution or punishment of any person for
any act done or committed in violation of any ordinance hereby repealed
prior to the taking effect of this chapter.

Unless another penalty is expressly provided
by New Jersey statute, upon a conviction of a violation of a provision
of this chapter, the Court shall impose a fine of no less than $150
and no more than $350 and, in addition, may impose a term of imprisonment
not to exceed 15 days.
