Township of Jefferson, NJ Chapter 424 Street Naming Map

§ 424-1 Street Naming Map.

The map prepared by the Township of Jefferson entitled "Jefferson Township Street Naming Map," revised through February 2004, as prepared by Charles P. Brozuski, N.J.P.L.S., is to be recognized as the street naming map for the Township of Jefferson.

§ 424-2 Streets and roads designated.

All streets and roads throughout the Township, as depicted on said map, shall hereafter be known and designated by the respective names as they appear on the map.

§ 424-3 Copies on file.

Copies of said map shall be on file with the Clerk of the Township.

§ 424-4 Sale and distribution of maps.

The governing body of the Township of Jefferson may provide by resolution for any distribution or sale of said map.[1]

§ 424-5 Amendments to map.

The Street Naming Map of the Township of Jefferson shall be amended from time to time by Township and in accordance with § 424-3 of this chapter.

§ 424-6 Legislative intent. [1]

No part of this chapter is to be construed as relating to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., but rather, this chapter is designed pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:67-1 et seq.
