There is hereby established within the Fire Department of the Borough of Maywood an Antique Association.
The purpose of the Antique Association is to preserve, protect and promote the well-being and maintenance of the Borough-owned antique fire apparatus and equipment so as to provide additional functioning apparatus to the Fire Department in time of need and to promote public awareness of the history of fire services through shows, musters and parades.
Membership shall be open to the following persons:
A. 
All members in good standing of the Maywood Fire Department and the Fire Police.
B. 
Such other interested persons dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of antique fire apparatus whose membership is approved in accordance with the following procedure:
(1) 
The names of such other interested persons shall be submitted to the Board of Fire Officers by the members of the Antique Association.
(2) 
Upon approval by the Board of Fire Officers, the names shall be submitted to the Mayor and Council for approval.
The Antique Association shall be under the control and supervision of the Board of Fire Officers and shall be governed by the rules and regulations established for the Fire Department of the Borough of Maywood.
