Borough of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ Article VI Ambulance Service Fees

§ 28-35 Imposition of fees; construal of provisions.

A. There is hereby authorized the imposition of a fee upon and the collection thereof by the appropriate officials of the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights from each of the following persons to whom the Fire Department renders ambulance service the fees and charges as set forth in Chapter 133, Fees.

B. Any and all fees or charges imposed hereunder shall be payable to the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights, and nothing herein shall be construed as compensation to any member of the Fire Department, its Rescue Squad, its Ambulance Squad, its Volunteer Auxiliary Ambulance Squad or any other volunteer rendering services for which a fee or charge is imposed hereunder, all those persons being and remaining volunteers who individually render such service without fee, compensation or other consideration whatsoever.
