A fee, established by separate Town Board resolution, shall
be paid to the Division of Fire Services prior to the issuance of
any permit or for such other services as may be delineated by the
Town Board in such resolution.
This chapter shall not be construed to subject the Town of Colonie,
any fire department or any of their respective officers, employees,
or agents to any civil or other liability for any damage to persons
or property by reason of any reliance upon any permit or approval
issued pursuant to this chapter, the inspections or reinspections
authorized herein, the failure to inspect or reinspect any premises,
or by reason of the approval or disapproval of any equipment authorized
herein.
This chapter shall take effect January 1, 2011.
