[Adopted 2-10-1986 by L.L. No. 1-1986]
This article is enacted to provide for the disposition
of revenues from taxes imposed by the County of Erie in that said
amounts paid directly to the Town of Aurora are to be used for any
Town purpose.
Section 1262 of the Tax Law authorizes counties
to set aside a portion of their sales tax revenue for cities and towns;
pursuant to this section, the Town of Aurora is providing that amounts
paid to the Town as a portion of the sales tax revenue shall be paid
directly to the Town of Aurora to be used for any Town purpose.
This article will affect sales tax revenues
which were set aside by the County of Erie for the Town of Aurora
pursuant to law.
