The Selectmen are authorized to establish a schedule of rates to be charged to patrons of ambulance service furnished by the Town.
The Board of Selectmen may from time to time review said rates and establish a new rate schedule. Such rate revisions shall be effective 30 days after public notice in a newspaper having circulation within the Town.
The Selectmen shall be responsible for establishing the billing procedure for ambulance service.
Fees levied for ambulance service shall be payable to the Town Treasurer-Collector and deposited in an account known as the "Ambulance Fund." When deemed in the best interests of the Town, fees may be abated by a majority vote of the Board of Selectmen.
