The following rules shall apply to the use of recording devices at public
hearings in Hatfield Township:
A. Anyone wishing to use a recording device (tape recorder
or video camera) at a public meeting must first advise the Township Manager,
in advance of the meeting, that a recording device will be used.
B. The individual seeking to use the recording device shall
supply to the Township Manager his or her name, address and purpose for taping
the meeting.
C. Hand-held recording devices may be used, in a manner
which is not disruptive, from the seat of the individual using the recording
device.
D. Recording devices which are not hand-held must be used
from the back of the meeting area.
E. No recording device may be used in a manner which will
be disruptive to the meeting.
