Except as otherwise authorized by laws of the United States of America or the State of New York, it shall be unlawful for any person to use the sidewalks in the Town of Eden for any purpose other than for pedestrian purposes, and the use or operation of a motorcycle, automobile or any other motor-driven vehicle, with the exception of snowplows for snowplowing purposes, is hereby prohibited on such sidewalks as being unlawful.
It shall be unlawful for motorcycles, automobiles and all other motor-driven vehicles to be parked on or allowed to stand upon any such sidewalk in said town.
It shall be unlawful for any person or group of persons to walk upon any of the roadways of said town along which a sidewalk or sidewalks are, have been or shall be provided for, except for the purpose of crossing said roadways or in an emergency.
Upon conviction for a violation of this article, a fine not to exceed $25 shall be imposed upon the person so convicted.
