Town of Fishkill, NY Article I General Provisions

§ A155-1 Purpose.

It is the purpose of these specifications to establish minimum acceptable standards of construction for roads which are to be offered for dedication to the Town of Fishkill and to provide similar standards for any associated activities which are to be conducted within rights-of-way owned by the Town or rights-of-way which are to be offered for dedication to the Town.

§ A155-2 Applicability.

These specifications shall apply to the following cases:

A. Case 1: all roads in the Town of Fishkill which are Town roads on the effective date of these specifications.

B. Case 2: all new roads for which plans are approved after the effective date of these specifications.

C. Case 3: any and all persons, companies and corporations, public or private, which may require occupancy of any Town right-of-way in existence on the effective date of these specifications or of any right-of-way which is dedicated to and formally accepted by the Town thereafter.

§ A155-3 When effective; effect on other legislation.

These specifications shall become effective upon approval thereof by the Town Board and the Town Superintendent of Highways and shall supersede all previously approved Town road or street specifications.
