The purpose of this chapter is to authorize a seven-member Board of
Zoning Appeals and to provide for appointment of said membership by the Geneva
City Council.
A.
There shall be a Board of Zoning Appeals consisting of
seven members who shall be appointed by the Geneva City Council for a term
of three years.
B.
The present members shall complete their existing terms
and all subsequent terms shall continue to be for a period of three years.
Any vacancies shall be filled by the Geneva City Council for the unexpired
portion of the term. The Board shall serve without compensation.
