It is hereby determined that pigeons have become
a public nuisance in the city. They constitute a menace to public
health by their roosting, nesting and frequenting of various public
and private buildings within the city.
The Health Officer shall have the authority
to issue permits for the trapping of pigeons in the city.
Any pigeons trapped in the city shall be disposed
of for food purposes only unless sick or injured beyond recovery.
Any Antwerp or homing pigeon wearing a ring or seamless leg band with
its registered number stamped thereon shall be released immediately.
