No person shall give or cause to be given any false alarm of fire in
any manner whatsoever in the city.
No person shall operate or attempt to operate any connected fire alarm
signal box within the city except in case of fire, nor interfere in any way
with a signal box connected to the city fire alarm system except with consent
of the Fire Chief or Board of Fire Commissioners.
No person shall make or cause to be made or have in his possession any
key, or impression or duplicate of any key of any signal box of the city fire
alarm system without the consent of the Board of Fire Commissioners.
No person shall injure or interfere in any way with any hose or apparatus
belonging to or in use by the City Fire Department or any other fire department
operating in the city or otherwise assisting the City Fire Department.
No person shall place any lumber, stone or other obstruction nearer
than 15 feet to any fire hydrant within the city without the permission of
the Fire Chief or his designated assistants.
No person shall interfere in any way with the Fire Chief or his designated
assistants in the placing of fire lines or any proper measure that he or his
assistants may direct for the purpose of controlling or extinguishing a fire.

A violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable
by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment not exceeding 15 days, or
by both said fine and imprisonment. Each day any such violation shall continue
shall constitute a separate violation.
