The Town of Ghent does hereby enact and adopt
the following goals and objectives in furtherance of its Affirmative
Action/Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Policy:
A.
A copy of the Affirmative Action/Minority and Women-Owned
Business Enterprise Policy Statement shall be disseminated internally
to managers, supervisors, employees, unions and any other public official
involved in the process.
B.
A copy of the Affirmative Action/Minority and Women-Owned
Business Enterprise Policy Statement shall be disseminated externally
in connection with all actual and potential sources of recruitment,
contractors and vendors.
C.
Kenneth H. Wilber is hereby designated as Program
Manager for the program.
D.
It shall be the responsibility of all managers, supervisors
and other public officials within the Town of Ghent to carry out all
of the goals and objectives of this policy.
