The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident
resulting in the injury or death of any person or property damage
to an apparent total of $1,000 to any one vehicle or other property
damage shall report the accident as required by MGL c. 90, § 26.
Violation of this section is a civil infraction with a maximum fine
of $60.

If any vehicle is found upon any street or highway
in violation of any provisions of these rules and orders and the identity
of the driver cannot be determined, the owner or the person in whose
name such vehicle is registered shall be held prima facie responsible
for such violation. Violation of this section is a civil infraction
with a maximum fine of $60.

Pursuant to the authority granted by MGL c.
90, § 20A 1/2, a surcharge of $5 is added to the penalties
above if not paid within 21 days, said surcharge being applied prior
to notice being sent to the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Further, an
additional surcharge of $10 shall be imposed and added to the above
penalties after notice has been sent to the Registry if payment has
not been received.

All rules previously adopted by the Select Board
of the Town for the purposes of governing or restricting traffic are
hereby repealed, and all other rules or regulations or parts thereof
in conflict with or inconsistent with any provisions of these rules
are hereby repealed, except that this repeal shall not affect or prevent
the prosecution or punishment of any person for any act done or committed
in violation of any rules or regulations hereby repealed prior to
the taking effect of these rules.
