Persons seeking to be married or joined in civil union by the Mayor shall pay to the Borough a fee of $75 if the ceremony is performed in the Borough and $100 if performed outside of the Borough, all in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:48-1 and said fees shall be deposited into the current fund of the Borough as municipal revenues not anticipated for the balance of 2007 and thereafter anticipated as revenue in future years.

The Mayor shall be reimbursed for his/her proper and reasonable expenses in connection with the performance of wedding and/or civil union ceremonies by receiving as an additional salary, payable at each pay period, 90% of the total amount of the fees collected pursuant to § 153-1 since the last pay period.
