Pursuant to the provision of § 12, Article 2, of the Town
Law of the State of New York, subject to a permissive referendum, the office
of Receiver of Taxes and Assessments shall be an appointive office in the
Town of Ontario. The Town Board shall appoint a Receiver of Taxes and Assessments,
who shall take and hold office for the term as provided by the Town Law.
