Meanings of Abbreviations:

Base Course – 25 mm superpave hot-mix
asphalt, PG 64-22, 0 - 0.3 million ESAL (equivalent single-axle load),
unless substitute materials are approved by the Borough Engineer prior
to placement.

SRL – Skid Resistance Level. M or superior
in accordance with PennDOT 408 specifications, unless substitute materials
are approved by the Borough Engineer.

Subbase – One of two options: 2A stone
or AASHTO #57 aggregate.

Wearing Course – 9.5 mm superpave hot-mix
asphalt, PG 64-22, 0 - 0.3 million ESAL (equivalent single-axle load),
SRL - M or superior, unless substitute materials are approved by the
Borough Engineer prior to placement.
