It shall be unlawful for any child more than 11 years old and under
the age of 18 years to loiter or remain, either on foot or in or on a vehicle,
in or upon any of the public streets, highways, alleys, parks or other public
places, as well as private property posted with a "no loitering" warning,
of the Borough of Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, between the
hours beginning at 10:30 p.m. and continuing until 5:00 a.m. on the following
day on any Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night, or between
the hours beginning at 11:30 p.m. and continuing until 5:00 a.m. on the following
day on a Friday or a Saturday night, unless such child shall be accompanied
by a parent, guardian or other person having the legal care or custody of
such child.

It shall be unlawful for any child under age 12 to loiter or remain,
either on foot or in or on a vehicle, in or upon any of the public streets,
highways, alleys, parks or other public places, as well as private property
posted with a "no loitering" warning, of the Borough of Chambersburg, Franklin
County, Pennsylvania, between the hours beginning at 9:30 p.m. and continuing
until 5:00 a.m. on the following day on any Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
or Thursday night, or between the hours beginning at 10:30 p.m and continuing
until 5:00 a.m. on the following day on a Friday or a Saturday night, unless
such child shall be accompanied by a parent, guardian or other person having
the legal care or custody of such child.
No parent, guardian or other person having the legal care or custody of a child under the age of 18 years shall allow or permit any such child to loiter or remain, either on foot or in or on a vehicle, in or upon any of the public streets, highways, alleys, parks or other public places of the Borough of Chambersburg between said hours specified in §
125-1.
The words "to loiter or remain" as used in this chapter shall not include
the use of the public streets, etc., for the purpose of proceeding directly
without delay to or from the child's place of employment or to or from
other legitimate business or recreational activities.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be
liable to a fine of not less than than $25 nor more than $300 for each offense
and, in default thereof, to imprisonment in the Franklin County Jail for not
more than five days.
All times mentioned herein shall be the times then currently in effect
in the Borough of Chambersburg.
