The Mayor and police officers of the Borough
shall have the power, in case of occasion of fire, to disperse all
collections of idle, disorderly or suspicious persons, and otherwise
to preserve order, and to prevent the commission of offenses on such
occasions.

The Borough Council, through the Clarion Fire
and Hose Company, shall provide a proper place with ease of access
for the fire engine and other fire apparatus belonging to the Clarion
Fire and Hose Company and shall see that the same are kept in good
repair and condition and ready for immediate use.

Any person or persons removing or making use
of any fire engine, hose or other fire apparatus belonging to the
Clarion Fire and Hose Company, otherwise than for the purpose for
which such apparatus is intended or without being authorized to use
the same, or injuring, defacing or destroying the same, shall, upon
conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $100
nor more than $1,000 and costs of prosecution or, in default of payment
of such fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment for not more than
30 days, provided that nothing in this section shall preclude the
Borough or any other injured party from taking proper legal action
to recover damages resulting from such violation.
