[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Dickinson at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I). Amendments noted where applicable.]
A Planning Commission consisting of seven members is hereby created and established for Dickinson Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, pursuant to the provisions of Article II, Section 201, of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, as established by the Act of July 31, 1968, P.L. 805, No. 247, as amended and reenacted.[1]

The Planning Commission shall be comprised of seven Township residents who shall be appointed for terms of office of four years, except that the terms of the members first appointed shall be so fixed that no more than two shall be reappointed or replaced during any future calendar year.
Except for elected or appointed officers or employees of the municipality, members of the Commission may receive compensation in an amount fixed by the governing body. Compensation shall not exceed the rate of compensation authorized to be paid to members of the governing body. Without exception, members of the Planning Commission may be reimbursed for necessary and reasonable expenses.
The Planning Commission shall have all the powers and duties conferred and imposed upon it as set forth in the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, established by the Act of July 31, 1968, P.L. 805, No. 247, as amended and reenacted.
