Franchisee shall comply with all state and federal
laws and rules regarding cable television and its operation, as they
become effective, unless otherwise stated. Franchisee shall conform
during the entire term of the franchise with this ordinance and all
applicable township ordinances, resolutions, rules and regulations
heretofore and hereafter adopted except to the extent that any future
ordinance or regulation increases or expands the franchisee's obligations
under the franchise agreement.
In the case of any emergency or disaster, a
franchisee shall, upon request of the township, make available the
cable system and its related facilities to the township for emergency
use during the emergency or disaster period.
The paragraph captions and headings of this
ordinance are for convenience and reference purposes only and shall
not affect in any way the meaning and interpretation of this ordinance
or any franchise issued hereunder.
When the performance or doing of any act, duty,
matter, payment or thing is required hereunder and a period of time
or duration for the fulfillment of doing thereof is prescribed and
is fixed herein, the time shall be computed as to exclude the first
and include the last day of the prescribed or fixed period of duration
time. When the last day of the period falls on a Saturday, Sunday
or a legal holiday, that day shall be omitted from the computation.
