A.
The Mayor shall be the head of the Borough government and shall have all powers designated by the general law of boroughs, including but not limited to those contained in N.J.S.A. 40A:60-1 et seq.

The Mayor shall preside over all meetings of the Borough Council but shall not vote except to give the deciding vote in case of a tie.
C.
The Mayor shall see that the laws of the state and the ordinances of the Borough are faithfully executed and shall recommend to the Council such measures as he or she may deem necessary or expedient for the welfare of the Borough. The Mayor shall maintain peace and good order and have the power to suppress all riots and tumultuous assemblies in the Borough. In addition to the powers granted by the general law for boroughs of the State of New Jersey, the Mayor shall have the powers granted to him by ordinance which are not inconsistent with New Jersey law.
