A. 
No vehicle shall be parked within 15 feet of either side of a fire hydrant.
B. 
Any person violating this section shall be fined not less than $15 nor more than $50 and shall pay the costs of prosecution.
C. 
Any police officer of the Town, while in the performance of his duty, may remove or cause to be removed, at the expense of the owner or operator, any motor vehicle parked or left standing within 15 feet of either side of a fire hydrant when the owner or operator is unable, unwilling or unavailable to move such motor vehicle immediately.
A. 
Vehicles shall be parked at and parallel with the curbline so as to be facing the flow of traffic on any avenue, alley way, or street with both the right front and right rear wheels within 12 inches of the curb.
B. 
Any person violating this section shall be fined not less than $50 nor more than $100 and shall pay the costs of prosecution.

A. 
No vehicle shall be parked in any parking space designated by the Council with a sign as being devoted to a special use or purpose, such as accessible parking spaces, bus stop, taxi stands, doctor's stands or fire-equipment stand and the like, unless such vehicle shall be within that class, designated as being authorized to park in any such space.
B. 
Except for accessible parking spaces, any person violating this section shall, upon conviction, pay a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $100 and shall pay the costs of prosecution.
C. 
Any person unlawfully parking in an accessible parking space shall, upon conviction, pay a fine of $250 for the first offense and, for a subsequent like offense, receive a mandatory fine of $500 or a term of community service.
D. 
For purposes of this section, "accessible parking space" is as defined in Title 21, § 4183, of the Delaware Code.
A. 
No person shall park any vehicle on the streets of the business district in areas so designated by the State of Delaware or Town Council with a sign for a period of longer than the interval indicated on the sign.

A. 
No person shall park any motor vehicle owned or operated by him in any designated fire lane. This section shall not be construed to be applicable to the parking of emergency vehicles of the Town or the state when on official business. There are hereby established the following fire lanes within the corporate limits of the Town:
(1) 
On the west side of Front Street, in front of the Milton Fire Company.
(2) 
Within 15 feet of any fire hydrants.
B. 
Any police officer of the Town, while in the performance of his duty, may remove or cause to be removed from any fire lane, at the expense of the owner or operator of such motor vehicles, any motor vehicle parked or left standing in any fire lane when the owner of operator is unable, unwilling or not available to move such motor vehicle immediately.

With the consent, in writing, of the person charged with a violation under this article, the Chief of Police is authorized to accept and receive, without hearing, the minimum penalty for such violation if the penalty is paid within seven days from the date of the violation; or accept and receive, without hearing, the maximum penalty if such penalty is paid following the expiration of seven days from the date of violation.

A. 
No person shall stand or park any motor vehicle owned or operated by him/her on the West Side of Mulberry Street from Route 16 to the north end of the school property; from the south end of the school to Federal Street or Route 5, which is hereby designated as a "No parking or standing" area.
B. 
No person shall park or stand any motor vehicle owned or operated by him/her in the following areas:
(1) 
The southeast side of Federal Street from Rails to Trails to Wharton Street.
(2) 
The northwest side of Federal Street from Wharton Street to Coulter Street.
(3) 
The southeast side of Federal Street from Coulter Street to Strawberry Alley.
(4) 
In front of the Milton Elementary School, Federal Street, from east driveway to Rails to Trails.
(5) 
The east side of Union Street from Chandler Street to Route 16.
(6) 
The south side of Prettyman Street from Federal Street to Chestnut Street.
(7) 
The west side of Union Street from Broad Street to Magnolia Street.
(8) 
A limit of two-hour parking shall be permitted on the west side of Union Street from Route 16 to Orchard Street.
(9) 
Both sides of Chestnut Street from Front Street to Strawberry Alley.
(10) 
From Strawberry Alley south to Town limits on the west side of Chestnut Street.
(11) 
The north side of Tilney Street from Mulberry Street to Union Street.
(12) 
The south side of Tilney Street from the posted sign approximately 163 feet to Union Street.
(13) 
The northwest side of Federal Street from the corner of Federal and Front Street intersection approximately 71 feet to the posted sign.
(14) 
The south side of Church Street from the corner of Chestnut Street to Federal Street.
(15) 
Both sides of Magnolia Street.
(16) 
Both sides of Chandler Street from the corner of the Union Street intersection east to the intersection with Ridge Road.
(17) 
Both sides of Front Street Extended, beginning at the Union Street intersection.
(18) 
The east side of Village Center Boulevard from the Dogfish Head facility's truck entrance to the intersection of Fulham Drive, and the west side of Village Center Boulevard from the entrance of the Clubhouse parking lot to Acre Lane.
(19) 
The east side of Behringer Avenue, from the intersection of Behringer Avenue and Chandler Street approximately 275 feet north towards Atlantic Avenue.
(20) 
Both sides of the 300 block of Coulter Street, between the intersections of Walnut Street and Coulter Street and Collins Street and Coulter Street.
(21) 
Any future area as designated by action of Council.
C. 
Whenever the Town Manager or designee determines that a weather condition requires an emergency route be declared for the movement of vehicular traffic and that on-street parking be prohibited, such declaration shall be in effect until terminated by the Town. While said emergency declaration is in effect, no person shall park, or allow a vehicle to remain parked, on any portion of the emergency route as follows: Delaware Department of Transportation snow emergency routes, both sides of Atlantic Avenue, both sides of Bay Avenue, both sides of Behringer Avenue, both sides of Chandler Street, both sides of Chestnut Street, both sides of Lavinia Street, both sides of Magnolia Street, both sides of Willow Street, north side of Broad Street, and north side of Mill Street. Should a vehicle remain parked on a declared emergency route, information shall be obtained from the registration in order to identify the owner and said owner shall be subject to the violations and penalties pursuant to Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty, § 1-18A. Due to timeliness, the Code violation process required under § 1-18C shall be exempt.

No vehicle shall park upon any public street within the Town limits of the Town of Milton with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 10,000 pounds or more. This shall not apply to vehicles required to temporarily park for short periods of time not exceeding one hour for unloading/loading purposes with the engine not running.
